Congratulations on receiving the 2001 Victor Martinelli Outstanding
Treasurer's Award. As you know, this award is granted to a person who is
an active member of the National Association of County Treasurers and
Finance Officers and has served as a leader in their home state. The
distinguished panel of judges looks for a professional of the highest
caliber in the operation of their County office, and after careful
review, the judges selected you to receive this honor.
The members of
our association are pleased to be able to present you with the highest
award we have. To be named the "best" in the nation should be, indeed,
quite an honor. Your service to your community and your county, as well
as your participation in NACTFO, has proven that you are an official of
this caliber, and we are proud to have you as an active member and as a
recipient. I hope you will enjoy your well-earned honor for many years
to come. Your distinguished service and efforts as a county official
