WOODBURY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE "TAKES OVER" COURTHOUSE SECURITY

It's official!  The Sheriff's Office is now in-charge of the safety and security of the Woodbury County Courthouse.  Many thanks to the people who got this started. Ed Gilliland, the Human Resouces Director, and his great staff.  Marty Pottebaum, the officer in charge and the constant face at the door of the courthouse.  Marty put in a lot of long hours getting it going and making it run as smooth as it does.  The Courthouse Security Officers, another great group of people, will continue to provide security for the people working in the building and the public.

Below is a photo taken on 05.04.2015 of the "new look" at the north door.  From left to right, Courthouse Security Officer Greg "Big Shink" Shinkunas, Deputy Sgt. Don Armstrong, and Courthouse Security Officer Mike Van Beest.

Thanks again to everyone that helped with this transition.
