MARCH 27, 2012 — THIRTEENTH MEETING OF THE WOODBURY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Board of Supervisors met on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Board members present were Clausen, Monson, Tripp, Boykin, and Smith. Staff members present were Karen James, Board Administrative Coordinator, Joshua Widman, Assistant County Attorney, and Patrick F. Gill, Auditor/Clerk to the Board. The Claims were approved as presented. Copy filed. The meeting was called to order. Motion by Monson second by Boykin to approve the minutes of the 03/23/2012 Board meeting. Carried 5-0. Copy filed. The Board approved the separation of Tyler Lupkes, P/T Operations Officer, Emergency Services Dept., effective 03-01-12. Resignation. Copy filed. The Board approved the Other of Vincent Dvorak, Civilian Jailer, County Sheriff Dept., effective 03-26-12, $17.66/hour. End of Active Military LOA. Copy filed. The Board approved the Appointment of Kayse Fields, Case Manager, Social Services Dept., effective 03-28-12, $17.76/hour. Job vacancy posted: 01-25-12. Entry Salary: $17.76/hour. Copy filed. Motion by Clausen second by Boykin to approve and receive for signatures, a Resolution for inter-fund operating transfer. Carried 5-0. Motion by Boykin second by Monson to approve an application for a 12-month Class A Liquor License (LA Private Club) permit, with Sunday Sales privileges for White Horse Patrol Club, 1689 Old Hwy 141, Sergeant Bluff, IA, effective 04/05/2012 through 04/04/2013. Motion by Boykin second by Clausen to approve an application for a 8-month Class C Liquor License (LC Commercial) permit, with Outdoor Service and Sunday Sales privileges for 19th Hole, 3212 Old Highway, Sloan, IA, effective 03/23/2012 through 11/22/2012. Carried 5-0. Copy filed. Motion by Monson second by Boykin to approve the reappointment of Bob Knowler and Tom Cooper to the Community Action Agency of Siouxland Board of Directors. Carried 5-0. Motion by Clausen second by Monson to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Right-of-Way for Overhead and/or Buried Utilities Permit for Schaller Telephone Company, per Recommendation of County Engineer Mark Nahra. Motion by Tripp second by Monson to approve and authorize the Chairman to sign a Right-of-Way for Overhead and/or Buried Utilities Permit for Woodbury County REC, per Recommendation of County Engineer Mark Nahra. The Board adjourned the regular meeting until April 3, 2012. |
