George Boykin, a lifetime resident of Woodbury County, was elected to the Woodbury County Board of Supervisor's in November of 1984 and has been in office for seven terms. He has been married to Michele for 38 years, has three children, and four grand children.
His primary focus has been to represent all of the people of Woodbury County fairly and objectively on every concern that is brought before the Board. Another objective is to keep the County involved in prevention programs for adults and youth in the many programs the county supports financially and collaboratively with other governmental agencies.
His other interests with the County is conservation, preservation of land, wildlife, outdoor recreation, and clean air and water.
